鲁迅先生不但是伟大的文学家、革命家、思想家,而且是戏剧爱好者。他和我们西北地区的地方戏——秦腔,有着一段说来颇有意思而又值得令人回味的姻缘。一九二四年七月,鲁迅先生和十多位教授应当时国立西北大学和陕西省教育厅的邀请,前往西安暑假学校演讲,随行的还有两名记者。由于当时交通不便,所以从七月七日自北京起程,一直到七月十四日才到达西安。鲁迅先生到达西安后,住在西北大学教员宿舍内。第三天(十六日),鲁迅先生很风趣地带着初学来的陕西方言
