辽宁省营口地区种稻面积达160多万亩,大部分分布在辽河下游渤海之滨的大洼、盘山两县。土壤属于滨海盐渍性水稻土。过去由于人少地多,耕作粗放;盐渍化严重,稻谷产量很低,亩产只有二、三百斤,当时土壤盐分是影响农业生产的主要矛盾。二十多年来,由于农业科学技术的飞跃发展,采取了全面规划,综合治理,改良与利用相结合,以水肥为中心的改土措施,获得了显著的效果,加快了土壤的脱盐,促进了土壤的熟化,改变了生产条件使单位面积产量不断提高。1979年全地区
