稀土氧化物(REO)的装载量,1973年估计为26000吨,较1972年增加49%,或三倍于1971年的水平。由于制钢工业的需要,REO的消耗量迅速增加,催化剂、玻璃和电子元件方面,需要量亦有新的增加。象前几年一样,1973年,在几个市场中,世界REO的供应是充足的,能满足迅速增长的需要,在世界上很多地方,原料能大量供应,并有大的金属生产厂和化学处理厂,所以能容易地满足继续增长的需要。
The loading of rare earth oxides (REO) was estimated at 26,000 tons in 1973, an increase of 49% over 1972 or three times the level of 1971. Due to the needs of the steelmaking industry, the consumption of REO has been rapidly increasing, and the demand for catalysts, glass and electronic components has also been newly increased. As in previous years, in 1973, the supply of REO in the world was sufficient in several markets in 1973 to meet the rapidly growing demand for raw materials to be supplied in large quantities in many parts of the world, as well as large metal production plants and chemical Processing plant, it can easily meet the needs of continued growth.
