猪、牛、羊是目前农村中的主要畜类,它们的脏器用途也很广,可以说它们全身都是宝。在制药方面说,一头猪的全部内脏几乎都可以制成药品或试剂,它们的价值超出了每头猪的白肉价值。内脏为什么可制药?因为人和牲畜都属于哺乳动物,彼此都有相同的脏器和各种腺体,在生理上起着相同的作用。例如猪牛羊的内分泌腺,完全和人的内分泌腺相同,因而在这些腺体内,包含着相同的激素,我们就有可能把激素提出来,为人类的健康服务。1 到底那些脏器可以制造出那些药品?初步估计从猪、羊、牛身上三十八种脏器下脚中可制造出二百种药品和试剂,其中用途较广的有五十余种。现在把重要的几种产品列成一表作为参考:
