The long-term sealing of the sand area in the southern margin of the Tengger Desert, through a growing season of positioning observation, analysis of full cutting and cutting half of the two kinds of intensity on the sealing of sandy soil moisture ecology, the results showed that: There was a significant difference between the soil moisture content of the mowing and semi-mowing treatments and the control, both in the fencing area of the vegetation and in the fencing area of the artificial planting and fencing. The vegetation water consumption decreases with the increase of cutting utilization intensity. Soil water content of 0 ~ 80 cm layer in the confined sandy land generally shows the trend of increasing with the increase of mowing intensity; During the period from March to July, soil moisture gradually decreased in the whole mowing and semi-mowing treatments and the control soil moisture content. In the process of soil moisture gradually rising from July to September , And the difference of soil water content between different treatments was significantly reduced. Under different utilization intensities, the soil moisture in enclosed sandy land increased at first and then decreased with the increase of soil depth. In 0-30 cm soil layer, Nearly, the lower the soil moisture content, while in the 30 ~ 70 cm soil layer, showed a trend of rapid decline with increasing depth. Most of the differences in soil water content between different depths of cutting and control were as follows: full cutting (semi-cutting (no clipping), indicating that cutting had the effect on the soil moisture in the enclosed sandy land A certain degree of regulation and improvement.
