1990年1月15日《经济参考》论坛载文指出:在粮食问题上,我们已反复若干次了。今后,这个秧歌舞不能再跳了。中国十一亿人吃饭,哪个国家也帮不了忙,只有靠自己的勤奋劳动才能解决吃饭问题。粮食要放在足够的地位上考虑,但不能毁林,出路在于增加亩产量。这就要增加投入,要修水利,搞化肥、农药,光靠农民的积极性和政策也不行,还要有科技。
