目前,冶金企业和其它战线一样,按照党的十四届三中全会精神,深化改革,加快建立现代企业制度,促进企业两个文明建设健康发展.江泽民同志在十四大报告中指出;“党的基层组织是党的全部工作和战斗力的基础.”在十四届三中全会上,他又进一步强调:“党的基层组织是党的基础,基础巩固,才能保证党的整体有强大的战斗力,才能经得起任何风浪的考验.”因此,加强企业党的建设,是建立现代企业制度的改革中的应有之义.目前,需要提请注意的问题是,不能因为建立现代企业制度而放松或忽视企业党的建设,也不能把党的建设排除在现代企业制度之外单独进行.企业党的建设应该与建立现代企业制度的改革同时考虑,同步进行,同步加强.
