The development trend and importance of sponge iron production technology in steel industry are analyzed. The characteristics of sponge iron production technology in continuous furnace at bottom of trolley and the trial of small industrial test and trial use in EAF are introduced. Put forward the feasibility and necessity of large-scale industrial production.
