生物量的调查目的大体上分三种:1.从“全树利用”现点出发,为了解决根、枝、叶等体积的测定难题,以重量升测代替体积计测;2.用来研究树体各组份、各器官的能量流动、物质积累方式及其空间分布;3.为了研究森林的物质生产与公益效能,将森林中部分或全部植被均按同一计量单位(重量)进行定量分析。生物量调查的一个重要特点是以干物质重量做为指标,因此它还在合理利用和保护森林资源、挖掘生产潜力、鉴定经营效果等方面也能提供可靠的定量依据。森林生物量调查的历史,在国际上可以追溯到一百年以前,近二十年发展尤为迅速。我国在这方面起步较晚,而且研究局限于一些基础理论,生产上还难于推广应用。此文以杉木人工林为例,探讨了林分生物量的调查技术,在生产上有一定的借鉴价值。

The history of forest biomass surveys can be traced back to 100 years ago internationally and has been particularly rapid in the last two decades. Our country started relatively lately in this aspect, and the research is limited to some basic theories, and it is difficult to promote its application in production. This paper takes Cunninghamia lanceolata plantation as an example to discuss the investigation technology of stand biomass, which has some reference value in production.
