魏晋玄学时期,向秀、郭象以“各适其性”注庄子“逍遥”,虽在当时产生较大影响,但终被支遁“逍遥义”所取代。因为支遁以“乘天地之正”诠释逍遥,正好与庄子“逍遥”本义相合。逍遥是庄子理想人格“至人”的精神状态。必须从主观上消除小大、是非、贵贱乃至物我等对立观念,才能实现精神的自由,达到“乘天地之正,而御六气之辩,以无穷”的精神境界。
