一九八五年五月十六日,中共宁德县委召开“霍童惨案”专题座谈会.应邀到会的有黄垂明等十二位老同志,还有省地处理地下党历史遗留问题联络组、地委党史办、地下党办以及县有关部门负责人等。县委副书记陈修茂主持座谈会。“霍童惨案”发生于一九四三年一月六日,我闽东特委书记丁进朝及特委领导的闽东游击纵队八十多人惨遭敌107师大屠杀。左丰美同志在一九八三年八月二十六日回忆时说:
On May 16, 1985, Ningde County CPC Committee held a symposium on the “Huotong tragedy.” Twelve veteran comrades such as Huang Weiming and others who were invited to attend the meeting, as well as the provincial liaison group on the historical issues left by the underground people, Provincial Party History Office, underground Party Office and the relevant departments in charge of the county. Chen Shumao, deputy secretary of the county presided over the forum. The “Huotong tragedy” took place on January 6, 1943, when Ding Jinchao, secretary of the Fujian East Committee, and more than 80 people from the Fujian East Guerrilla Column, led by the special commission, were tragically killed by the 107th Division Massacre.
