多年地震预报实践的结果表明,对水氡正常动态的认识,是从大量水氡观测资料中提取地震前兆异常信息的基础。华南地区属少震、弱震区,自1971年开展水氡观测以来,区内无Ms≥5.5级的地震。因此,它也是六级以上地震的“无震区”。就五级地震而言,区内也仅有两次,即1977年10月19日广西平果5.1级和1982年2月25日江西龙南5.0级地震。平果地震发生在当时的水氡地震监测台网外,除上思水点外,其余水点的震中距均大于250公里。
The results of many years of earthquake prediction practice show that the recognition of normal water radon is the basis for extracting the information of earthquake precursory anomalies from a large amount of water radon observation data. In southern China, there is little earthquake and weak earthquake area. Since the observation of water radon in 1971, there are no earthquakes of magnitude Ms≥5.5 in the area. Therefore, it is also a “no earthquake zone” for earthquakes of magnitude 6 or above. For the M5 earthquake, there are only two in the area, namely, 5.1 on Pingguo, Guangxi on October 19, 1977 and 5.0 on Longnan, Jiangnan on February 25, 1982. The Pingguo earthquake occurred outside of the monitoring network of water radon at that time. Except for Shangsi water, the epicenter distances of the remaining water spots were all more than 250 km.
