In this paper, we use the GMS data of low winds in Japan to study the correlation between East Asia and the western North Pacific (taking latitude 10 ° -45 ° north and longitude 105 ° -150 ° longitude) on July 21, 1983 at 08:00 to 22:00, 850 hPa flow field for a preliminary study. The comparison of the flow field (called the “mixed flow field”) with the data of the radiosonde data only (the conventional flow field) and the former plus the satellite cloud wind data is made. Through objective analysis, we found that there are great differences between the two flow fields in the western North Pacific, which can better reflect the flow field in tropical oceans. The analysis of the above two kinds of flow field physical structures (vorticity and divergence) also found that there is a big difference between the two in tropical oceans, and the physical characteristics of the mixed flow field are well coordinated with the circulation system.
