塞北山水独具雄壮美,赤城很有代表性。赤城有黑、白二河,白河奔腾急湍,略有泥沙携带;黑河平静缓柔,水清冽得可见河床鹅卵。黑白二河极少污染,穿沟越壑流入密云水库,成为北京市民饮水之源。黑白二河又是绘画高手,经年累月不断描绘,于是才有了今天的黑河川和白河川。这两道川钟灵毓秀,稼禾丰美,有秋风吹不透的青纱帐,有明镜般闪闪的水稻田,挺拔的青杨树和高杆榆更着实可爱。最令我动情的是黑河川。黑河川南北走向,河川开阔,水中鹅鸭嬉戏,岸边水稻如茵,种植面积最大的还是玉米,随处可见平展展一望无垠的青纱帐。东万口还有温泉疗养院,温泉水汩汩流入黑河,流进一块块稻田,滋润着这一方肥沃的土地。据说这儿的稻米营养价值极高,是名副
