本文从聚酰亚胺(PI)分子骨架、侧基以及在液晶显示器定向层中的应用等几个方面讨论了聚酰亚胺型液晶定向层的分子设计.通过综合分析得出结论:用于液晶定向层的聚酰亚胺结构分子骨架最好为柔性骨架,并在骨架中引入一些侧基以有利于增加液晶分子的预倾角,提高液晶显示器件的显示质量.在保持传统聚酰亚胺的优良特性的同时最好制得透明甚至无色的聚酰亚胺薄膜以适应液晶显示器件不断发展的要求.
In this paper, the molecular design of polyimide-type liquid crystal alignment layer is discussed from the aspects of polyimide molecular (PI) backbone, pendant groups and application in the alignment layer of liquid crystal display. It is concluded through comprehensive analysis that the molecular structure of the polyimide structure used for the liquid crystal alignment layer is preferably a flexible skeleton and some side groups are introduced into the skeleton to help increase the pretilt angle of the liquid crystal molecules and improve the display of the liquid crystal display device quality. While maintaining the excellent properties of conventional polyimides, it is desirable to make transparent or even colorless polyimide films to accommodate the evolving requirements of liquid crystal display devices.
