以往的研究发现麻风病人对组织胺的反应比健康对照者有明显的抑制。结核样型麻风反应病人受累组织中组织胺的含量较低,而且肥大细胞的数目减少且有变性及颗粒消失,表明麻风病人中组织胺的分解代谢可能发生改变,而组织胺酶的毓化脱氨基作用是组织胺分解代谢的一个重要途径,作者遂对麻风病人的血清组织胺酶含量进行了研究。共选择了29名健康成人以及36名麻风病人(其中27例瘤型麻风,9例结核样型麻风)应用Arsen及Kemp的显微分光光度测定法进行了血清组织胺酶的测定。测定结果以暂定单位(Provisional units)来
