甲状腺分泌一些激素,能促进细胞的氧化作用,以维持所有组织的正常代谢活动。很久以来,已知甲状腺素T4占血液中有机碘的90%。1952年,Gross等又证实三碘甲状腺原氨酸(T3)是周围血中的第二个含碘氨基酸。T3及T4都是甲状腺的正常分泌产物。由于很容易用放射性碘标志T3及T4,故在人及实验动物中得以仔细地研究它们的代谢动力学。
Thyroid secretion of some hormones, can promote the oxidation of cells in order to maintain the normal metabolic activity of all tissues. It has long been known that thyroxine T4 accounts for 90% of the organic iodine in the blood. In 1952, Gross et al. Confirmed that triiodothyronine (T3) is the second iodine-containing amino acid in the peripheral blood. T3 and T4 are thyroid normal secretion products. Since it is easy to use radioactive iodine markers T3 and T4, their metabolism kinetics can be carefully studied in humans and laboratory animals.
