2014年3月24日中石化宣布,将在2017年建成中国首个百亿方页岩气田——涪陵页岩气田。这标志着中国页岩气开发实现重大战略性突破,提前进入规模化商业化发展阶段。7月17日又宣布,通过了国土资源部油气储量评审办公室专家组的评审,被认定为典型的优质海相页岩气,新增探明地质储量超过一千亿立方米。这标志着我国首个大型页岩气田正式诞生。国际社会普遍认为,页岩气开发是全球能源领域的一场革命。中国近年来也加快页岩气勘探开发,根据页岩气“十二五”规划,到2015年,页岩气产量计划达到65亿方。涪陵页岩气田的加速开发,使得这一目标的实现更为明朗。专家分析,这样一个年产能100亿立方米的页岩气田,如果以能源当量换算,相当于一个1000万吨级的大型油田。而涪陵页岩气田的潜力,似乎还远不止于此。
March 24, 2014 Sinopec announced that it will build the first 10 billion square shale gas field in China in Fuling shale gas field in 2017. This marks a major strategic breakthrough in the development of shale gas in China and advance into the stage of large-scale commercialization. July 17 announced that it has passed the assessment of the expert group of the Office of Assessment of Oil and Gas Reserves of the Ministry of Land and Resources and was identified as a typical high-quality marine shale gas with a proven geological reserve of over 100 billion cubic meters. This marks the official birth of China’s first large-scale shale gas field. The international community generally believes that shale gas development is a revolution in the global energy field. In recent years, China has also accelerated exploration and development of shale gas. According to the “12th Five-Year Plan” for shale gas, by 2015, shale gas production will reach 6.5 billion cubic meters. The accelerated development of the Fuling shale gas field has made the realization of this goal clearer. Expert analysis, such a shale gas field with annual capacity of 10 billion cubic meters, equivalent to a 10 million-ton large-scale oil field in terms of energy equivalent conversion. The potential of Fuling shale gas fields, it seems far more than this.
