手机应用商店的概念是苹果公司首先提出的。2008年7月,苹果的应用商店App Store开张,仅仅几个月时间就聚集了数千名开发者,提供了上万种应用,吸引了上亿次下载量,内容涵盖手机软件、手机游戏、手机图片、手机主题、手机铃声、手机视频等。此后,终端制造商以及操作系统开发商诺基亚、微软、谷歌等纷纷效仿,一时间,应用商店成为热门的商业模式。各大手机企业通过搭建自己的应用商店,提升自身手机产品的吸引力。目前,我国的操作系统厂商、终端厂商、互联网企业以及三大运营商也都积极加入到搭建手机应用商店的行列中。手机应用商店的发展除了依靠客户之外,在很大程度上是由开发者来决定的。优秀的开发者能够为应用商店设计出更好的软件,继而产生更大的利润。因此,如何激励开发者是手机应用商店应该认真思考的问题。本文主要对比分析三类不同手机应用商店在开发者激励方面采取的措施,并提出相关建议。
The concept of a mobile application store was first proposed by Apple. In July 2008, Apple’s App Store, the App Store, opened with just thousands of developers in just a few months, providing tens of thousands of apps, attracting billions of downloads covering mobile apps, mobile games, Phone pictures, cell phone themes, ringtones, mobile video and so on. Since then, terminal manufacturers and operating system developers Nokia, Microsoft, Google and so have to follow suit, for a time, the application store has become a popular business model. Major mobile phone companies to build their own application store, to enhance the attractiveness of their mobile phone products. At present, China’s operating system vendors, terminal manufacturers, Internet companies and the three major carriers are also actively involved in building mobile application store ranks. In addition to relying on customers, the development of mobile application stores is largely determined by the developers. Outstanding developers are able to design better software for the app store, which in turn generates greater profits. Therefore, how to motivate developers is that mobile application store should seriously consider the issue. This article mainly compares and analyzes the measures taken by developers in three different types of mobile phone application stores and puts forward some suggestions.
