声发射技术对于检测氮化层的脆性具有明显的优越性。它可以在零件或试样受力状态下确定氮化层断裂的开裂点,如果与力学性能试验配合,可以计算出氮化层开裂以前试样吸收的能量和氮化层的断裂强度,从而可以衡量不同材料或不同氮化工艺的氮化层的脆性,有利于优选材料和热处理工艺。本工作的目的是利用声发射技术确定氮化层的开裂点、断裂强度和弯曲韧性,评价氮化层的脆性,比较三种材料氮化层的脆性和选择最佳的氮化工艺。
