梅山人终于盼来了这一天。1996年3月28日,梅山人的历史将重笔写下这一天。这一天,尽管雨骤风急,南京机场封锁,冶金部常务副部长徐大铨从北京登机,中途迫降于合肥,不避风雨,连夜驱车赶来梅山;这一天,上海市副市长蒋以任无法乘飞机抵宁,改乘火车已不可能,凌晨四点,当人们还沉睡在梦中之时,乘上汽车,冒着风雨直奔梅山而来。这一天,江苏省、南京市的领导赶来了,日本、美国的朋友赶来了,各报社、电台、电视台的记者们都赶来了。数百名中外贵宾激情满怀地聚集梅山,是来参加梅山告别昨天的奠基礼,庆贺梅山步入明日辉煌的盛大节日。为这一天,梅山人整整企盼了20多年。梅钢自1969年创建以来,就被计划经济安排为上海几家钢厂的
