碾压混凝土路面是指用低水灰比、坍落度为零的混凝土经振动压路机振动碾压成型的路面。由于碾压混凝土具有施工方便迅速,造价低廉,强度不低于普通混凝土等优点,使得碾压混凝土由最初用于修建水利大坝而转向修筑停车场、货场及一些公路低速路面。近年来,随着碾压混凝土施工技术的改进和提高,一些专用设备的采用,碾压混凝土已可以铺筑较高等级的公路路面。美国、加拿大、瑞典等国已铺筑了相当数量的碾压混凝土路面,施工技术、检测方法也逐渐完善。我国不少地区也先后铺筑了碾压混凝土试验路,并做了卓有成效的研究工作,取得了可贵的经验。
