当今的报纸,既要满足读者对新闻信息快速获取的需求,又要面对以网络传媒为主的非平面媒体的竞争。因而,各类报纸纷纷探索新闻的视觉传播规律,在加强报纸版面装饰设计、图片传达效果的同时,大胆使用手绘、数码插图,极大地丰富了报纸版面的视觉美感,提高了新闻信息传播效益。可见,报纸新闻插图在报纸新闻宣传中一直扮演着十分重要的角色。作为一种造型艺术,报纸新闻插图是文本的视觉表达。报纸新闻插图创作,具有与普通绘画同样的感染力,同时又有很强的社会功能性。
