AN/APS-116雷达系统是美国海军为执行对海监视和反潜战任务的巡逻机而研制的。系统的基本要求是在遇到以很强的干扰信号形式出现的海杂波后向散射时能可靠地探测到象潜望镜那样大小的小目标。雷达系统设计考虑采用非常高的距离分辨力和快速扫描天线。信号处理方案是采用扫描至扫描去相关来实现的。对于目标探测门限,它是在N次对目标区域的独立扫描中选择M为第二门限电平(即M出自N)。本文对该雷达的每一主要设备都作了概述,并摘要叙述了为检查系统性能而作的鉴定测试情况。
The AN / APS-116 radar system was developed by the U.S. Navy to patrol aircraft for maritime surveillance and anti-submarine warfare missions. The basic requirement of the system is to reliably detect small targets such as periscopes in the face of backscattering of sea clutter in the form of strong interfering signals. Radar system design considers the use of very high range resolution and fast scanning antenna. Signal processing solution is to use scan-to-scan correlation to achieve. For the target detection threshold it is chosen M as the second threshold level (ie M from N) in N independent scans of the target area. This article provides an overview of each major equipment of the radar and a summary of the qualification tests performed to check system performance.
