The paper introduces a design method of controlling the 10kW charging system using 89C51 microcontroller. This system can realize the choice of charging parameters, as well as the charging voltage, charging current and temperature monitoring and regulation during charging. The hardware structure of the control system, the main functions of each part and the design of the software are elaborated
