“文明冲突”论是对现实国际冲突的一种理论概括,它既为美国在后冷战时期的国际新战略提供了理论依据,也提出了一种新的地缘政治理论和观察世界体系变动的新框架。这一理论的要害,是试图用“文明冲突”掩盖资本主义基本矛盾,目的在于引发全球动乱,或许美国可以借以摆脱霸权衰落,乱中取胜。《文明冲突与世界秩序的重建》一书在理论上不无建树,但是总体上是对盎格鲁—撒克逊世界霸权衰落所作的一首挽歌。
The theory of “clash of civilizations” is a theoretical summary of the actual international conflicts.
