农产品副产物是在农产品生产或加工时产生的非主产品,包括秸秆、米糠、稻壳、麸皮、饼粕、果渣、菜帮、畜禽骨血、薯渣、酒糟、醋糟等。2013年,我国农作物秸秆约8亿吨,占农业生物质总产量的50%;粮油、果蔬、畜禽、水产品加工副产物5.8亿吨,其中60%(远低于发达国家的10%)被作为废物丢掉或简单堆放简,形成秸秆、稻壳、酒糟、果渣、菜帮、骨血等农产品副产物的几座“大山”。相当于7亿亩土地的投入产出和6000亿元的收入被损失掉。
