Muslim caste is a special social-cultural phenomenon in India and even in South Asia. It appears in the Middle Ages of India, after a certain development, presented in a hidden manner. Indian Muslim caste originated in the vague sense of caste of Muslim traders who settled in India for the first time, as well as the deep caste customs of Hindus who largely converted to Islam as the Muslims conquered India. After the establishment of the Sultanate of Delhi, the division of Muslim Ashram-Aguilar formed the prototype of Indian Muslim caste. By Mughal period, this division was more complicated and meticulous and gradually became an identity type of Indian Muslims.
