赛金花,清末民初名妓,被称为“中国第一乱世佳人”。刘半农写了一本书,叫《赛金花本事》,系采访赛金花本人而成,被认为具有较高的“史料价值”。在刘半农的误导下,“赛二爷救了北京城”、“救了一万多人”、“赛金花是老北京的守护神”等说法至今流传。黄濬(音同俊)曾一语道破:“夫欲从老妓口中征其往事,而又期为信史,此诚天下之书痴。”偏偏刘半农当了这样的傻瓜。赛金花嘴里没真话赛金花,本名不详,出生地不详,
