英语语言学课程是高校英语专业人才培养计划中的一门基础学科和必修课,其重要性不言而喻。该课程主要通过传授现代语言学理论知识,激发学生对语言研究的兴趣为主要目的,但是由于该学科的理论性极强,由于教学方法与学生认识度的问题导致英语语言学这一学科的教学效果并不理想,本文结合当前高校英语教学先进文献对高校英语专业课程教学中存在的问题进行了分析,并对如何改进教学方法提供了一些建议,具体如本文所示。
English linguistics course is one of the basic disciplines and compulsory courses in college English majors training program, its importance is self-evident. The main purpose of this course is to teach modern linguistic theories and stimulate students ’interest in language research. However, due to the highly theoretical nature of the subject, the teaching of English Linguistics is led by the problems of teaching methods and students’ awareness. The effect is not ideal. Based on the current advanced teaching of college English teaching, this article analyzes the existing problems in the teaching of college English majors and provides some suggestions on how to improve the teaching methods, as shown in this paper.
