1960年春夏之交,我随10万垦荒大军来到黑龙江省嫩北农场,在七分场当上了“战士”。我中学时代便酷爱文学,走进茫茫荒原,感到神奇新鲜,诗兴犹如潮涌。不过初出茅庐,投寄的稿件全是石沉大海,杳无音讯。惟有印刷质量颇差的《北大荒》文学内刊,给了我出乎意外的鼓励和关怀。拙诗《门泸河的清晨》在此获得“优秀作品奖”后,主编左弘亲自到分场祝贺和辅导,并将我临时借到编辑部“撮忙”。其时,编辑部刚刚由密云镇搬迁到有“西伯利亚”之称的虎林区。所谓编辑部,只是一间日本人留下
