采用刘来福定义的＂遗传距离＂概念研究了２４份陆地棉亲本。结果表明，４份亲本的综合性较好，此４份中的３份参加过省级以上品种区域试验或已审定推广；在遗传上２４份亲本可分成５个类群。
Twenty-four upland cotton parents were studied using the concept of “genetic distance” defined by Liu Laifu. The results showed that the 4 parents were better comprehensively, 3 of these 4 were tested or approved in the regional trials of above provincial level, and the 24 parents were genetically divided into 5 groups.
