河流湿地随着河道形态的变化而演变。航道工程作用于河流系统,导致了河流湿地结构和范围的变迁,实践中,航道工程引发了主槽刷深、支汊淤塞、洲滩冲淤等河道演变,也抑制了河岸侵蚀等天然河道演变过程,从而影响河流湿地的范围和格局。其演变结果为后续的河道治理和土地开发提供了基础,使河流湿地格局进一步变迁。不同的航道工程对对河流湿地演变的影响也不相同。因此,航道工程的规划、设计应当考虑其综合和长远影响,包括航道工程在内的河道治理工程,应该统筹规划、协同开展。
