张洪岛先生主编的教材《欧洲音乐史》有陈宗群、汪毓和、于润洋等人共同参加编写而成,于1964年由中央音乐学院内部发行、1982年正式出版。这是我国较早的外国音乐史专著之一。《简明牛津音乐史》是由英国著名的音乐学家杰拉尔德·亚伯拉罕著写的。这本厚重如词典一样的音乐史巨著由他个人完成,并于1979年出版英文原版的,后由顾姆译,钱仁康、杨燕迪校订,1999年由上海音乐出版社出版发行其中文译本。
Textbook edited by Mr. Zhang Hongdao The History of European Music, written by Chen Zongqun, Wang Yuhe and Yu Runyang, was published internally by the Central Conservatory of Music in 1964 and was officially published in 1982. This is one of the earliest monographs in the history of foreign music in our country. The Concise Oxford Music History was written by Gerald Abraham, a famous British musicologist. This thick as a dictionary of music history masterpiece by him personally, and published in English in 1979, the original, followed by Gu Mu translator, Qian Renkang, Yang Yan Di school revision, in 1999 by the Shanghai Music Publishing House published its Chinese translation.
