一「一定形態的政治和經濟是首先決定一定形態的文化的」(毛澤東新民主主義論)。這是一條說明歷史和現實的馬克思主義真理。教育是在各個不同的社會經濟形態之下,改變它的性質、目的、內容和方法的。因此,各個不同歷史階段的教育都有它的不同特點。教育性質是隨著政治和經濟的變化而變化的。中華人民共和國的成立,標誌著中國革命第一階段的基本結束和第二階段的開始;即新民主主義革命階段的基本結束和社會主義革命階段的開始。中國革命第一階段的任務是推翻帝國主義、封建主義和官僚資本主義的統治,建立新民民主主義社會。第二階段的任務是要在中國建立社會主義社會。
A “certain forms of politics and economy are the first to determine a certain form of culture” (Mao Zedong’s New Democracy). This is a Marxist truth that illustrates both history and reality. Education changes its nature, purpose, content and method under different social and economic forms. Therefore, education in different historical stages has its own different characteristics. The nature of education varies with political and economic changes. The founding of the People’s Republic of China marks the basic conclusion of the first phase of the Chinese revolution and the beginning of the second phase; that is, the basic conclusion of the new-democratic revolutionary phase and the beginning of the socialist revolution phase. The task of the first phase of the Chinese revolution is to overthrow the rule of imperialism, feudalism and bureaucratic capitalism and establish a Xinmin democratic society. The second phase of the task is to establish a socialist society in China.
