厦门市利用台资方面在全国可以说是先走一步。自建立特区以来,已批准的台资企业有100多家,投资总额3.5亿美元,其中利用台资金额截止1988年底为1.02亿美元。1988年发展最快,全年新批准的180个外商投资项目中台资企业有80个,投资额1.14亿美元,其中利用台资金额8219万美元。1989年元旦以来,台资来厦的势头更猛,厦门已成为自台湾开禁以来台商投资的热点。一个总投资为1.8亿美元的大型台资项目最近已获中央批准,它的建成投产将对厦门经济发展起着不可估量的影响。近年来台资大量涌进厦门的原因一、从台湾省内经济来看。(1)台币储存量增多,需要寻找投资出路。据官方统计,现在官方储存的台币有700多亿,民间还有1000多亿游资没有出路。这些资金存入银行有时不仅没有利息,而且还要交纳保险金和手续费,这是促使台币外流的第一个冲动因素。

In recent years, a large number of Taiwan-funded influx of Xiamen one reason, from the perspective of Taiwan’s economy. (1) The increase of NTD stocks requires finding an investment outlet. According to official statistics, there are over 700 billion Taiwan dollars officially stored. There are still over 100 billion yuan of hot money for the public there is no way out. Sometimes these funds are deposited into banks not only without interest, but also to pay insurance premiums and fees, which is the first impulse to promote Taiwan’s outflow of money.
