水稻根、茎、穗各性状间有密切的相关关系,以茎为中心研究这些关系时,茎数和茎直径是很重要的性状。其中,茎数较易计算,但对于茎直径的测定,则需将水稻植株的每条茎分开,去掉叶和根,逐条测量。因此,在测定茎直径时不仅要花费相当的时间和劳力,而且由于稻株被解体,过后对于同一稻株无法再测定。为此,笔者从植株茎数和周长着手,研究了简便且非破坏性测定茎直径的方法。材料与方法本方法是利用直径已知的丙烯棒,求出丙烯棒束的周长和棒直径的关系式,然后,将水稻植株的茎数和周长值代入关系式中,计算出茎的平均直径。具体的做法是将直径为3、5、6、8、10毫米的丙烯棒各5根分别用橡皮圈紧紧地捆扎在一起,用
