梅花通背拳,是丁太师爷和李锦祥师爷下传至梅花拳十五世传人刘汉军先生和王丕征先生的。王丕征先生于民国年间曾用此拳在开封打擂勇夺第一,被誉为“花拳大王”。此拳手法紧凑,动作快速勇猛、力由脊发,节节贯串,可缓可急、朴实无华、利于技击,富于实用。现刘汉军老先生已八十八岁了,仍能拳脚如风,步势稳健,演练该拳,亦如壮年。老先生担心继承传统者乏人,故嘱我,整理出来,一恐失传愧对前人,二来以寻此拳根源。
