《基础写作》内容大致可分为三个部分,一是写作的准备阶段,即绪言及前四章;二是写作的执笔阶段,即第五章至第八章;三是基本型文体,即后三章。第一阶段是在了解写作课的基本性质和写作过程后,重点掌握写作目的和材料的有关问题;第二阶段包括段落的构制、造句和措词,讲的是写作的执笔过程;第三阶段基本型文体,可以理解为应用阶段。为了教学内容的大体均衡,本学期讲授到构段。学习这门课程,一要理解并掌握教材的基本知识与理论,二要运用这些知识和理论提高阅读分析文章的能力（重点阅读《文鉴》中的选文）,三要在理论的指导下写出有一定水平的文章。为了使大家对基础写作课的知识、理论和实践能力有一个全面且灵活的掌握,我们以综合练习的形式做此辅导。
