在欧美,越来越多的大企业都不再设立专门用于研发创新的实验室,而更热衷于收购小企业的创新成果或兼并拥有创新能力的小企业。想依靠少数“创”心未泯的底层少壮派,是无法扭转大企业创新力下滑的局面的,唯一的希望,就是像乔布斯那样,自上而下地向组织强行灌输创新理念。尽管每个企业的做法各有千秋,但至少有以下几种方式是最必要也已经被证明最有效的:物理手段:选择和汇集具有创新力的员工,这是最省力的物理行为。当一位CEO准备向组织灌输创新理念时,首先需要寻找到组织内最具创新力的员工。化学手段:培育创新意识。创新其实是一种可以学习和开发的能力。这个阶段固然只能渐进演变,并且需要耐性,但相对于前面的物理方法,更具有不可逆性。生物手段:鼓励创新,包括物质奖励(如奖金、加薪、升职)和特殊待遇(如创新研发休假、表彰创新优秀分子等)。心理手段:不断“制造”危机。必须牢记,只有实现了连续性创新,企业才有希望在日新月异的时代长期保持赢利。如果企业经营现状还不错,就更应该想尽一切办法提醒同僚们要居安思危。

Biological means: To encourage innovation, including material incentives (such as bonuses, salary increases, promotion) and special treatment (such as innovative research and development leave, recognition of outstanding innovators, etc.). Psychological means: constant “manufacturing ” crisis. It must be borne in mind that only by achieving continuous innovation can the business hope for long-term profitability in its ever-changing era. If the business status quo is not bad, even more should try every means to remind colleagues to be in a serious condition.
