依托安徽省省级重点学科——经济法学和安徽省高等学校人文社会科学重点研究基地——安徽大学经济法制研究中心的经济法学学科,是安徽大学法学院的优势学科和重点建设的学科,已被列入安徽大学“211工程”二期建设的学科之一。安徽大学早在1981年、1985年和1987年就以周枬教授和王镕教授为主的导师组在全国较早地招收了3届经济法学专业的硕士研究生。1998年,安徽大学正式被批准建立经济法学专业硕士点,1999年开始招生。2001年,安徽大学经济法学学科被评为安徽省省级重点学科。2003年,以经济法学学科的教师为主体的安徽大学经济法制研究中心被批准为安徽省高等学校人文
