聊城师范学院图书馆,创建于1974年,其前身是山东师范学院聊城分院图书馆。当时仅有三名工作人员,既无馆舍又无设备,几张旧桌子几把破木椅,不到40平方米的两间小教室,既当办公室又当书库,只能把书摊在苇席上进行借阅,根本无法进行分类和编目,更谈不上流通和为教学科研服务了。当时的图书馆职能发挥甚微。后来由总院(山东师范学院)调来七万余册图书和部分设备,再加上当时新购的一部分书刊资料,聊城师范学院图书馆才初具雏形。随着教育事业的不断发展,我院的整体规模不断扩大,进而使我院图书馆也在不断扩大、不断前进。

Several old tables were broken with wooden chairs and two small classrooms of less than 40 square meters, both as offices and as bookstores, I borrowed seats, unable to categorize and catalog, let alone circulate and serve the teaching and research. At that time, the functions of the library played very little. Later by the General Hospital (Shandong Normal University) transferred more than 70,000 books and some equipment, coupled with the new part of the new books and materials purchased at that time, Liaocheng Normal University Library only take shape. With the continuous development of education, the overall size of our hospital is constantly expanding, which in turn leads to the continuous expansion of our library.
