本刊扉页刊登的“美英报刊导读”系列,由北京大学周学艺教授主持,目的是使读者对西方媒体的背景、倾向及行文方式有所了解,以利于学好新闻英语。
The publication of the “US-British Press Guide” series on the front page of this magazine is chaired by Professor Zhou Xueyi of Peking University. The purpose is to make readers understand the background, tendency and mode of writing of western media so as to facilitate the study of news English.
