认知是心理活动的重要方面,是个体对其经验的组织和解释,认知的发展是影响学习的一个重要因素。对于部分学生来说,在英语语言学习课堂上,显现出了十分明显的认知负荷,具体表现在来自于学生内部的认知负荷。相对于身处同一环境的其他学习者,他们可能自身英语水平基础相对薄弱,对英语学习积极性也不高甚至没有,为了使语言学习能有质的提高,他们需要付出更多努力,因而也会呈现出明显的心理负荷。同时,对于教师的教学设计,他们表现出漠然的状态,这样无疑也产生了超越内部认知负荷的额外负荷,这种状况给英语课堂教学也带来了一定的难度及考验。为了化解学生的语言学习认知负荷,首先要给学生塑造一个真实的语言学习情景,模拟真实的物质及社会环境,从而唤醒学生的语言学习认知;在大数据网络时代,及时更新教学手段,加强学生行为投入,促进学生语言认知发展;树立正确的语言学习价值理念,培养内在于学习者的强烈意识,凭借其认知结构,进行知识构建,增长个人技能,提高个人修养。
