The reform of state-owned enterprises in China, especially the reform of state-owned large and medium-sized enterprises, has achieved remarkable results and the vitality has been continuously enhanced. However, it still faces many new problems. The most prominent one is that people have deviations in their understanding of reforms and should pay sufficient attention to them. One of the misunderstandings, state-owned enterprises or enterprise groups are separated from the administration of the competent authorities, which is tantamount to achieving the separation of government and enterprises. Some newspapers believe that many state-owned enterprises are still applying grades and management.
