One of the strange things in international economic relations is that the two close allies of the United States and the EU have for a long time failed to unite to adopt common strategies to dispel their complaints about Japan’s trade that the United States and the EU are having long-term trade deficits and trade deficits with Japan Similar complaints about the problems that have not been solved since. This paper examines empirically the differences between the United States and Europe in the trade strategy with Japan and examines the transatlantic economy.
