潍坊市坊子区,历史上就是著名的商贾之地,曾有“十步一商,百步一贾”的记载。如今,坊子区个体私营经济迅速发展,这个仅有24万人口的小市区,1993年个体私营企业完成工业产值15.9亿元,占全区工业总产值的48%,向国家缴纳税金1320万元。1994年,个体私营企业完成工业产值达到38.5731亿元,比上年增长143%,占全区工业总产值的57%。到目前,全区个体私营户已发展到11990家,从业人员达4.96万人。坊子区个体私营经济的迅速发展,引起了人们的极大关注。一位从事市场经济研究的学者考察了坊子的经济发展状况后,认为其繁荣可与中国南方个体私营经济最为发达的温州相媲美,将其归纳为“江北温州现象”。
Fangzi District, Weifang City, is the history of the famous merchants, there have been “a step by step, a hundred paces Jia” records. After studying the economic development of Fangzi, a scholar engaged in market economy research thought that its prosperity could be compared with that of Wenzhou, the most developed individual and private economy in southern China, and classified it as “Phenomenon of Wenzhou in Jiangbei”.
