OBJECTIVE: To determine the contents of lead and lead in blood of young rats on day 7 and day 21 after birth by different doses of lead exposure during pregnancy and lactation in rats. The levels of apoptosis-related genes Bcl-2 - 2, Fas protein expression. Methods Blood lead and brain lead were determined by atomic absorption graphite furnace method. The expressions of Bcl-2 and Fas protein were determined by immunohistochemistry. Results Compared with the control group, the expression of Bcl-2 protein and Fas protein in the lead-exposed group were lower than those in the control group at 7 days after birth, but no change was found in the 21-day-old pups . Conclusion Lead may change the quantity of apoptotic cells by changing the expression of Bcl-2 and Fas proteins in developmental brain tissue, leading to the developmental neurotoxicity of lead.Purpose: Lead can be induced by different doses of lead during pregnancy and lactation The lead poisoning model was used to determine the level of blood lead and brain lead in young rats at 21 days after birth. Conclusion Lead may change the number of apoptotic cells by changing the expression of apoptosis-related genes Bcl-2 and Fas in brain tissue during developmental period, leading to the developmental lead neurotoxicity.
