化学是在炼丹术及医药的基础上发展起来的,古人制用无机药物的成就较大,有机方面的进步较晚。除很早即知应用酒及醋等外,1785年,Scheele制成没食子酸等,才打开有机化学的大门。1803年,Derosne,Serturner提出吗啡,为制药化学奠定了基础。抗生素学说的创造者为1845~1916年的梅契尼科夫,欧洲学者的这些贡献,是举世公认的事实。我国古代亦盛行过炼丹术,医药更为进步,化学上的成就也很多,比之欧洲,有过之而无不及。现介绍中药里的有机化学制品,除历史上的价值外,尚有现实的意义。
Chemistry is developed on the basis of alchemy and medicine. The ancients made great achievements in the use of inorganic medicine, and organic progress was later. In addition to the early application of wine and vinegar, Scheele made gallic acid in 1785 to open the door to organic chemistry. In 1803, Derosne and Serturner proposed morphine, which laid the foundation for pharmaceutical chemistry. The creator of the doctrine of antibiotics was Mechinnikov from 1845 to 1916. These contributions by European scholars are universally recognized facts. In ancient China, alchemy was prevalent, medicine was more advanced, and chemical achievements were many. Compared with Europe, it was even worse. The introduction of organic chemicals in traditional Chinese medicines now has practical significance in addition to historical values.
