党的十八大以来,以习近平同志为核心的党中央高度重视思想政治工作在治国理政中的地位和作用,提出了一系列新思想、新观点,着重阐述了思想政治工作对于巩固马克思主义在意识形态领域的指导地位、凝聚最广大人民的共识和力量、弘扬社会主义核心价值观、推进国家治理现代化等方面的重要作用。推进国家治理体系和治理能力现代化,要更好发挥思想政治工作的传统优势,以当代中国马克思主义引领现代国家治理,凝聚改革共识,把思想政治工作融入国家治理的全过程,充分发挥其导向、育人、激励、保障等功能,使思想政治工作真正起到经济工作和其他一切工作的“生命线”作用。
